The Internet’s Opinion

From 3 professional reviews and 5 owner reviews: a fair amount of evidence.

All three professional reviews recommend it, and the five owners read at Thomann agree on the sound, the layout, the build and the master isolator; the analogue subharmonic synth is the feature no other DJ mixer has. The reservations are no channel filters, built-in effects or USB interface, knob caps that feel cheap, and a sub synth that needs real subwoofers and care.

Our take

Rory TassellWritten from the sources on this page, not from a loan unit.

All three professional reviews recommend the WARM4, and the five owners read at Thomann agree on its open, warm sound, the clear layout, the build on Alps potentiometers and the master isolator. Its analogue subharmonic synth is a first for a DJ mixer, Bonedo notes. The reservations are no channel filters, built-in effects or USB interface, and knob caps that feel cheap. Buy it for vinyl and players on a system with real subwoofers.

What it is

Status, October 2026: current. Ecler still lists the WARM4.

What it is

The WARM4 is a four-channel analogue rotary DJ mixer designed and built by Ecler in Barcelona, and Ecler says it was inspired by the booth of New York's Paradise Garage (Ecler product page). It is the four-channel sibling of the two-channel WARM2, and Amazona's December 2023 test calls it the WARM2's logical enlargement (Amazona).

Each channel switches between phono and line (channels 3 and 4 can also take a mic) and has a trim, a three-band full-cut EQ, an effects send with a pre/post-fader switch, an LED meter and a rotary volume control on an Alps Blue Velvet potentiometer. There is no crossfader, no channel filter, no built-in effect and no USB. The master section has a three-band isolator with 24 dB/oct slopes at 300 Hz and 4 kHz, from full cut to +12 dB. The feature Ecler says no DJ mixer had before is an analogue subharmonic synthesizer, switched in per channel, that adds tuned undertones between 25 and 60 Hz, with its own level control and meter.

The rear panel has four phono and four line inputs on RCA with ground pins, two mic inputs (XLR, and an XLR/TRS combo, with 18 V phantom power), master and booth outputs on both XLR and RCA, an RCA rec out and an RCA effects send and return; headphones take 1/4" or 3.5 mm jacks (WARM4 data sheet). The power supply is internal. It measures 340 x 372 x 81 mm and weighs 5.32 kg, with wooden side panels. The box holds the mixer, an IEC power cable, eight RCA protection caps, a First Steps Guide and a warranty card (WARM4 user manual).
