When a figure, a price, a quoted verdict or a claim on this site is wrong, we correct it within two working days of learning about it. The corrected page carries a dated note at the foot saying what it said before and what it says now, and the same entry is added to the log below. We do not quietly edit. Typos and rewording are not corrections and are not logged; a change to a fact is.
Most entries so far come from our own audit: when a specification is moved into the source sheet it is checked against the manufacturer’s documentation, and where the page disagreed with the manufacturer, the page was wrong. To report something, tell us and name the page.
