The Internet’s Opinion

From 3 professional reviews and 5 owner reviews: a fair amount of evidence.

Reviewers recommend it as the stick to leave plugged in: tiny, cheap and quick to read. The reservations are slow small-file writes, which lengthen a rekordbox export, and a thin plastic body.

Our take

Rory TassellWritten from the sources on this page, not from a loan unit.

All three professional reviews recommend it as the stick to leave plugged in: it sticks out about 6 mm, it is cheap, and it reads quickly. The reservations are slow small-file writes, which lengthen a rekordbox export, a thin plastic body, and a size that is easy to lose once it is out. Buy it for a stick that lives in one deck or controller; for frequent big exports, choose a faster-writing stick.

What it is

Status, November 2026: current. SanDisk still lists the Ultra Fit.

What it is

The Ultra Fit is a USB-A stick small enough to stay in a port: it measures 29.7 × 14.2 × 5.1 mm and weighs 1.28 g (SanDisk product page), and sticks out about 6 mm, per EverythingUSB. It uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 and is sold from 16 GB to 2 TB. SanDisk rates it up to 400 MB/s read on the 128 GB and larger sizes and 300 MB/s on the 64 GB, gives no write speed, and covers it with a five-year limited warranty.

Writes are its weak spot. ssd-tester measured 97 MB/s on the 128 GB against 180 MB/s on the 512 GB, so the larger size exports faster. An older, slower version shares the model number SDCZ430, so check that a listing says 400 MB/s. One owner on Reddit r/DJs had intermittent format prompts on CDJ-2000NXS2s, so try it in your players before a gig; the DJ USB sticks guide covers formatting and exports.
