The Internet’s Opinion

From 1 professional review and 42 owner reviews: a fair amount of evidence.

Only one professional review exists, but it and 42 Thomann owners agree the steel table stands firm and sets up in minutes without tools. Its weight is the common complaint, raised by 20 sources, and a few find the top and shelf fiddly to hook in or the optional covers see-through.

  • Top and shelf are fiddly to hook in, and some doubt the top's hold if someone leans on it
  • The optional fabric covers show through and their Velcro lets go
Show 4 more
  • Too small for four players or two turntables with a four-channel mixer
  • Bag straps tear or the bag arrives cut
  • Fixed working height is high for shorter DJs
  • Paint chips easily or the finish is rough

Our take

Rory TassellWritten from the sources on this page, not from a loan unit.

Only one professional review exists, Bonedo's, which recommends it, and 42 Thomann owners largely agree: the steel frame stands firm and sets up in minutes without tools. Weight is the main reservation, raised by 20 of the 43 sources, and a few find the top fiddly to hook in. Buy it for a deep top at a fixed 932 mm; if you carry gear alone up stairs, choose a lighter table.

What it is

Status, November 2026: current. Thomann lists the DJ Table under its own Roadworx brand.

What it is

The Roadworx DJ Table is a folding DJ table that Thomann has sold under its own Roadworx brand since August 2022 (Thomann product page). The frame is black-lacquered square steel tubing, and a fine metal mesh 200 mm high surrounds the worktop, per Bonedo's test. The worktop measures 1137 x 570 mm (44.8 x 22.4 in) and sits at 932 mm (36.7 in); Bonedo found the screw-out feet give only about 1 cm of adjustment, so the height is in effect fixed. Overall it measures 1203 x 605 x 1125 mm, weighs 21.0 kg (46.3 lb) and is rated for 50 kg (110 lb), although Bonedo's 2022 test quoted 100 kg. Thomann gives no folded size.

It goes together without tools: the frame unfolds on hinges and the worktop hooks on with four bolts. Two holes in the top take cables, and it comes in a gig bag with three handles. Fabric covers in black or white and a second shelf weighing 6.5 kg are sold separately.

Thomann says the top takes DJ controllers or a mixer with turntables. Bonedo fitted a four-channel controller such as the Pioneer DJ DDJ-1000, but turntables fit only turned sideways beside a slim two-channel mixer like the Pioneer DJ DJM-S11. Owners report a Denon DJ Prime 4 fitting, and most say it stands firm; the common complaint is its weight, and several find the top and shelf fiddly to hook in.
