The Internet’s Opinion

From 1 professional review and 11 owner reviews: not much evidence yet.

Too little evidence to call: one video review recommends it, and most of 11 Guitar Center owners call it sturdy, easy to adjust and roomier for legs than an X-stand, while three report a wobble or a width setting or leg pin that won't lock fully, and three find it heavier than expected.

Our take

Rory TassellWritten from the sources on this page, not from a loan unit.

One video review and most of the 11 Guitar Center owners read, nearly all keyboard players, call it sturdy and easy to adjust, with room for legs that an X-stand lacks. The evidence is thin: three owners report a wobble or a width setting or leg pin that won't lock, and three find it heavier than expected. Buy it for a controller or mixer up to 32.4 cm deep; deeper gear needs a deeper top.

What it is

Status, November 2026: current. Gator still lists the Heavy-duty Keyboard Table.

What it is

The GFW-UTILITY-TBL is a steel table stand that Gator sells for a keyboard, mixer or similar pro audio gear. Its top is two foam-padded platforms at the ends of an open frame that pulls out from 29 to 44 in (73.6 to 111.7 cm) wide, and Gator's dimensions image gives it 12.75 in (32.4 cm) deep. The legs adjust from 26 to 40 in (66 to 101.6 cm). Gator rates it for 132 lb (59.87 kg), gives its weight as 18 lb (8.16 kg) and says it collapses for travel and storage, though it publishes no folded size. A bubble level on the frame and levelling feet help on an uneven floor, Gator offers an add-on second tier rated for 60 lb that tilts in 10-degree steps, and the stand carries a three-year warranty.

The Guitar Center owners are nearly all keyboard players; one also uses it for a mixer at gigs. Most call it sturdy and say it leaves room for legs and pedals that an X-stand doesn't, which is what Green Room Music found with a digital piano. Three owners say it is heavier than they expected, and two wish something held the frame closed once folded. The DJ tables guide compares it with deeper and wider tops.
