Odyssey FZF5437T

A flat-folding table that sets up in minutes and looks smart; heavy at 48 lb and not steady for hard scratching.

The Internet’s Opinion

From 3 professional reviews and 8 owner reviews: a fair amount of evidence.

Three YouTube reviews and eight Guitar Center owners agree it sets up in minutes, looks smart and stands firm with a useful shelf inside. The repeated complaints are its 48 lb weight with one handle and no wheels, dings or cracks on arrival, and wings that are not steady enough for heavy scratching.

Our take

Rory TassellWritten from the sources on this page, not from a loan unit.

All three YouTube reviews and several of the eight Guitar Center owners say it sets up in minutes, looks smart and stands firm, with a useful shelf inside. The reservations are its 48 lb weight with one handle and no wheels, dings or cracks on arrival from four owners, and wings not steady enough for heavy scratching. Buy it for a quick, tidy mobile setup if you can carry 48 lb; for heavy scratching, choose a steadier table.

What it is

Status, November 2026: current. Odyssey still lists the FZF5437T, alongside an all-black Black Label version, the FZF5437TBL.

What it is

The FZF5437T is a fold-out table in Odyssey's Flight Zone series: a flat case of black laminate ply with aluminium edging and steel hardware that opens into a stand with a top and two fold-out wings. Open, it measures 54 × 37 × 19.5 in (137 × 94 × 50 cm) at a fixed height of 37 in, with a table surface 17 in (43 cm) deep. Folded, it is 33.25 × 36.5 × 4.25 in with a heavy-duty handle and latches, and it weighs 48 lb (21.8 kg). Odyssey rates it to 100 lb (45 kg), evenly distributed, and covers it with a limited lifetime warranty (Odyssey product page).

Guitar Center's listing says the top takes two turntables and a mixer. Fayze Reviews fits a Pioneer DJ DDJ-SZ2 on it, though not in its road case, and sets it up in under 30 seconds. Behind the front panel is a shelf for bags, cables and spare gear, which all three video reviews and several Guitar Center owners mention. There are no cable holes and no wheels, and owners repeat that it is heavy to carry and that some arrive with dings or cracks. PEN DJs would not let anyone lean on the wings, and one owner found it not steady enough for heavy juggling and scratching.
