The Internet’s Opinion

From 1 professional review: not much evidence yet.

Too little evidence to call: only one professional review found. Bonedo recommended it in 2019 as a loud, portable Bluetooth speaker with full bass, simple controls and long battery life, and no owner reviews could be read because Thomann and Guitar Center do not list it.

Our take

Rory TassellWritten from the sources on this page, not from a loan unit.

Only one professional review exists, so the evidence is thin. Bonedo recommended it in 2019 with 4 out of 5 for its portability, volume, full bass, simple controls and battery life, but found that the power-supply adapter does not fit the rear compartment and that playback stutters while it charges a phone over USB. One unit plays in mono, so stereo needs two, and Reloop's manual says it is for indoor use only.

What it is

Status, October 2026: current. Reloop still lists the Groove Blaster BT.

What it is

The Groove Blaster BT is a portable Bluetooth speaker from Reloop, announced in May 2019 (Digital DJ Tips). Reloop pitches it as a complement to a portable turntable setup, and its setup diagram pairs it with the Reloop Spin (Reloop product page).

The 430 mm column holds a 6-inch woofer, two 3-inch midrange drivers and two 1-inch tweeters in a three-way design, driven by a Class D amplifier at 100 W maximum: 30 W to the woofer, 12 W to each mid and 5 W to each tweeter. Reloop describes the driver layout as stereo, but its manual says a single unit plays a mono mix. Two units linked with the Speaker Pairing button play left and right, and linking works over Bluetooth only, not from the aux input.

A 6,600 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated for up to 10 hours, and the 12 V power supply stows in a compartment on the back beside five battery-level LEDs. Bluetooth 4.0 reaches up to 30 m, NFC pairs supported phones with a tap, and a 3.5 mm aux input takes a turntable, mixer or CD player. A USB-A port charges a phone at 5 V and 2 A while the speaker is on, but carries no audio. There are no microphone or instrument inputs, Reloop publishes no frequency response, and its manual says the speaker is designed for indoor use only.

It measures 180 x 180 x 430 mm and weighs 4.4 kg with the power supply. Reloop lists the power supply and a detachable carrying handle as included.
