The Internet’s Opinion

From 6 professional reviews and 21 owner reviews: a fair amount of evidence.

Five of six professional reviews recommend it as a compact, solidly built four-deck controller for djay Pro with stems on the EQ knobs, and most of the 21 owners read at Thomann repeat its portability, sound and features. The repeated reservations are the missing jog wheels, which make it a controller for sync, the many shift combinations, uneven build on some units, the price, and connection problems a few owners had on Android and Lightning devices.

What people praise

  • Small and light enough for a backpack, for mobile gigs, travel and small booths
  • Packs four decks, eight pads, FX paddles and stems controls into a tiny panel
  • Solid build with a brushed aluminium top panel
Show 3 more
  • Tight djay Pro integration, with Neural Mix stems on the EQ knobs
  • Clean, strong sound from the built-in audio interface
  • Laidback Luke's shift layer adds loop moves, backspins and 0.1 BPM tempo nudges

What to know first

  • Many functions sit behind shift and button combinations, some unlabelled, and take time to learn
  • No jog wheels: it is built for sync, and manual beatmatching is hard
  • Uneven build on some units: knobs and faders with play, a sticking FX paddle, a failed gain knob or headphone jack
Show 5 more
  • Feels expensive for what it delivers
  • No power supply in the box and a short USB-C cable; it needs a USB-C PD supply of 20 W or more
  • Connection problems with Android devices or Lightning iPads, and glitches mid-set, for a few owners
  • Only an RCA main output and a 3.5 mm headphone jack: no XLR, booth output or inputs
  • Tied to djay Pro: DJs on Serato, rekordbox or Traktor miss support

Our take

Rory TassellWritten from the sources on this page, not from a loan unit.

Five of six professional reviews recommend it, and most of the 21 owners read at Thomann agree: it fits in a backpack, feels solid, sounds good and puts four decks and stems on a tiny panel. It has no jog wheels, so it suits synced sets, and its shift combinations take learning; some owners had faulty units or Android and Lightning problems. Buy it if you mix with sync in djay Pro; if you beatmatch by hand, skip it.

What it is

Status, October 2026: current. Reloop still lists the Mixtour Pro.

What it is

The Mixtour Pro is a compact four-deck DJ controller with a built-in audio interface from Reloop, developed with the DJ Laidback Luke for Algoriddim's djay Pro (Reloop product page). Reloop announced it at NAMM in January 2024, and it reached shops in July 2024 (Digital DJ Tips). It is an updated design of the Reloop Mixtour from 2016.

The layout is a two-channel mixer: gain, a three-band EQ and a bipolar filter on each channel, 45 mm Ultra Glide line faders and crossfader, and FX paddles with a dry/wet knob. Each side switches between two decks, so it controls four. Eight RGB pads serve one deck or split four per deck. A Neural Mix button turns the EQ knobs into stems controls for drums, instruments and vocals, and Reloop calls it the first controller to support djay Pro's Crossfader Fusion transitions. There are no jog wheels or pitch faders; a second layer reaches Auto Loop, Key Match, Pitch Bend and Key Shift.

Plugging it in unlocks the djay Pro features it operates on iOS, iPadOS, Android, macOS and Windows; the full app needs a subscription. VirtualDJ supports it with a paid licence. It is MIDI-compatible, but Serato and rekordbox do not list it among their supported hardware.

One USB-C port connects the phone, tablet or computer and can bus-power the controller; the other takes a USB-C power delivery supply of at least 20 W, up to 45 W, and charges the connected device. The 4-out 24-bit interface feeds unbalanced RCA main outputs and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It measures 129 x 310 x 51 mm and weighs 956 g. The box holds a USB-C to USB-C cable and the instruction manual; the power supply is not included.
