When it comes to live music, the venues range from huge arenas to small clubs, and the best nights don't always happen on the biggest stages. Sometimes all it takes is a dancefloor, a good sound system, a DJ mixer and the right DJ.
This study looks at the clubs and music venues people talked about and searched for most, using Instagram and TikTok hashtags, social media following, Google reviews and Google searches, and finds the favourite venue in each of more than 50 countries. The selection and the scoring are the author's own: the shortlist came from published best-venue lists, and the scores measure online attention, not sound or atmosphere. Figures cover March 2022 to February 2023 unless a later date is given; the full method is at the end.
Most Loved Clubs Around The World
1. The Warehouse Project
Location: Manchester
Total Score: 8.31 / 10
The Warehouse Project takes first place among the clubs, with an overall score of 8.31.
It is a season of parties rather than a single club. The first was held in 2006 at the disused Boddingtons brewery in Strangeways, with Modeselektor on the bill; it moved in 2007 to Store Street, a tunnel complex beneath Manchester Piccadilly station, then to Victoria Warehouse in 2012, back to Store Street in 2014, and to Depot Mayfield in 2019 (Mixmag, 2022).
The 2026 season, the twentieth, runs through the autumn to New Year's Eve, with Eric Prydz, Overmono and Hannah Laing among the names (The Warehouse Project). In October 2026 the organisers said WHP "in its current format" will take a "fallow year" in 2027, with events on "a far smaller scale" (DJ Mag, 2 October 2026).
2. Printworks London
Location: London
Total Score: 8.27 / 10
Ranking in second place is Printworks London with a score of 8.27. The venue took over the former Harmsworth Quays printing plant in Surrey Quays, once the largest printing factory in western Europe, and kept its printing presses and industrial look (ianVisits, February 2024).
Printworks closed on 1 May 2023 after six years, to make way for redevelopment (Mixmag, May 2023). Southwark Council approved plans for a permanent venue in the building in September 2024, with a reopening then planned for 2026 (Time Out, September 2024). As of October 2026 no reopening date has been announced, and the official site shows only "New website coming soon".
3. Ushuaïa Ibiza
Location: Ibiza, Spain
Total Score: 7.59 / 10
In third place is Ushuaïa Ibiza, an open-air venue built around a poolside stage.
Ushuaïa had the biggest rise in searches of any club in the study, up 419% over four years, and the most TikTok views, 101.8 million.
Its 2026 residencies were David Guetta's F*** Me I'm Famous on Mondays, Calvin Harris on Tuesdays and Fridays, Martin Garrix on Thursdays and Swedish House Mafia on Sundays (Ushuaïa, July 2026).

Ushuaïa Ibiza
Location: Ibiza, Spain
Number of views: 101.8 million
As well as making the top three overall, Ushuaïa is the club with the most views on TikTok, 101.8 million.
The club comes with hotels: Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel have 415 rooms and suites between them (Ushuaïa).

Number of followers: about 950,000
On Instagram, the party brand elrow had just shy of a million followers, more than any other club in the study.
elrow is a touring party rather than a club. It began in June 2010 at Row14, an old farmhouse venue near Barcelona's airport, and has since taken its themed parties to more than 50 cities, including London, Amsterdam, Miami and Buenos Aires; elrow House in Barcelona is the company's headquarters, not a club (Ibiza Spotlight, 2018).

Omnia

In terms of posts, the most popular club on Instagram is OMNIA, in Las Vegas, which has been tagged in over a million posts.
OMNIA opened inside Caesars Palace on 12 March 2015, with Calvin Harris in the main room on the opening weekend (EDMTunes, March 2015). In 2026 its operator, Tao Group Hospitality, added OMNIA Dayclub & Skybar next door, linked to the nightclub by a bridge (Caesars Entertainment, February 2026).

Laroc is an open-air club for 5,000 people, with one main stage, a pool area and terraces built from wood to blend into the surrounding nature. It celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2025 and ranked No. 7 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs 2026 (DJ Mag).

Printworks London was the most searched-for club on Google, with 716,300 searches in the year, its last before closing.
The redevelopment plans keep the building's press halls for concerts, immersive exhibitions and events, with offices around them and a rooftop events space (Time Out, September 2024).

1. Madison Square Garden

Ranking in first place as the most loved music venue in the study is Madison Square Garden, with an overall score of 8.38.
Known as "The Garden", the current arena opened on 11 February 1968 (PIX11). The Rolling Stones recorded 'Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out!' there in November 1969 (The A.V. Club), Elvis Presley sold out four shows there in June 1972 (Graceland), and in February 2023 Four Tet, Fred again.. and Skrillex sold it out (MusicTech).
MSG had by far the most TikTok views of any venue in the study, and was the second-most posted about on Instagram.
2. Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Total Score: 8.18 / 10
In second place, with a score of 8.18 out of 10, is Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
The outdoor amphitheatre sits near Morrison, where the Great Plains meet the Rocky Mountains. It was dedicated on 15 June 1941 and seats 9,525, and the venue describes it as the only naturally occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheatre in the world (Red Rocks).
3. Sydney Opera House

Total Score: 8.11 / 10
The Sydney Opera House completes the top three with a total score of 8.11.
Its white sail-shaped roof shells have made it Australia's top tourist destination: it welcomes more than 10.9 million visitors a year on site, by its own count (Sydney Opera House).

In terms of Google searches, the most searched-for venue is the Hollywood Bowl, searched for over two and a half million times in the year.
The Bowl is an outdoor amphitheatre in Los Angeles. Alfred Hertz conducted the Los Angeles Philharmonic's inaugural concert there in July 1922 (Hollywood Bowl).
Venue with Biggest Popularity Increase
Großer Musikvereinssaal
Location: Vienna, Austria
Increase in searches: 114%
The venue whose popularity grew most over the four years is the Großer Musikvereinssaal in Vienna, where search interest more than doubled.
It is the main hall of the Musikverein, which opened on 6 January 1870 to designs by the Danish architect Theophil Hansen. The hall is known worldwide for its acoustics, and the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Concert is played there every year (Austrian National Tourist Office).

1. Berghain

At the top of the list, by a long way, is the Berlin club Berghain, the most searched-for music venue in 17 of the more than 50 countries studied.
The building holds three dancefloors. The main Berghain floor is known for a slowed-down take on hard techno, and the Panorama Bar, up the stairs, is where techno and house meet (Groove, via Google Arts & Culture). The third, Säule, is a ground-floor room beneath the main floor that opened in March 2017 for the more experimental side of club music (Resident Advisor, Mixmag).
2. Sydney Opera House

Number of countries: 7
The top venue in seven countries, the Sydney Opera House takes second place on this list.
It holds several performance venues under one roof and stages more than 1,800 performances a year, attended by more than 1.4 million people (Sydney Opera House).
3. Madison Square Garden

Number of countries: 5
Madison Square Garden is the top venue in five countries, which places it joint third.
It also received approximately 246,000 Google searches in the year.
3. Paradiso
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Number of countries: 5
Paradiso, one of Amsterdam's best-known concert venues, shares third place as the top venue in five countries.
It opened as "Cosmic Relaxation Centre Paradiso" on 30 March 1968 in a former church on the Weteringschans, and has run club nights with DJs since 1982 (Paradiso). In January 2026 Paradiso announced a renovation and expansion, estimated at 93 million euros, with a new building on the neighbouring plot; it would close the venue for at least six months, starting in about five years (NL Times, January 2026).
Methodology
Using sources such as DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, Hostelworld, Musicgateway and NME, we created a seed list of the best music venues around the world. From this list we then collected data based on each venue's TikTok hashtag views, Instagram hashtagged posts, and annual Google searches. From this data, we then ranked the venues.
To get an overall ranking for each venue we took into account the total number of TikTok hashtags, Instagram followers, Instagram hashtags, average Google review score, the number of Google searches from March 2022 to February 2023 and the percentage increase in searches from March 2019 to February 2023. Each venue was then given a normalised score out of ten for each of these factors before an average of these scores was taken.
For the 'most popular music venues by country' section, we used a list of over 50 countries from Wikipedia. For each country we collected the average monthly searches for each music venue from March 2022 to February 2023 to find the favourite, then ranked the venues by the number of countries in which they came top.
For the top-rated section, we took the average review score given by users on Google.
By also looking at Google search data from March 2019, we showed how the annual search data for each music venue has changed, to reveal which are becoming more or less popular. This data was ranked on the percentage difference between March 2019 and February 2023.
