All six professional reviews recommend it, citing a solid metal build, punchy but controlled bass, good isolation and a locking cable that fits either ear cup; the three owner reviews read at Thomann agree on build and sound. The repeated reservations are small cups and a short headband for large heads, its 319 g weight and a soft pouch instead of a hard case. Buy it for the booth; with a large head, try it on first.
From 6 professional reviews and 3 owner reviews: a fair amount of evidence.
All six professional reviews recommend it for its solid metal build, punchy but controlled bass, good isolation and a locking cable that fits either ear cup, and the three owner reviews read repeat the build and the sound. The repeated reservations are small ear cups and a short headband for large heads, its weight, and a soft pouch where earlier M-100 models came with a hard case.

The V-Moda M-100 Pro is a closed-back, over-ear DJ headphone from V-MODA, the headphone brand owned by Roland. Roland announced it in June 2025 as the new flagship of the M-100 series, which V-MODA introduced in 2012, alongside the cheaper M-10, which replaced the Crossfade LP2. Roland describes it as carrying on the M-100 line with revised tuning and changes based on community feedback.
Each ear cup holds a 50 mm dual-diaphragm driver with a ceramic coating, with bass ducts in the housing. Roland quotes a 5 Hz to 40 kHz frequency response, 32 ohm impedance and 103 dB sensitivity. The frame is metal with V-MODA's hexagonal shields, the headphones fold, and the ear cups swivel for one-ear listening. The ear cups are now detachable, so worn ones can be replaced, and the cable plugs into either cup, with a jack cap to cover the unused socket. The headphones weigh 319 g.
It connects by cable to the headphone output of a mixer, controller or player. In the box are a 3 m coiled cable, a 1.5 m straight cable, a 1/4-inch plug adaptor, a jack cap, a carry pouch and the owner's manual.
