Status, October 2026: current. Chauvet DJ still lists the Intimidator Spot 360X.
What it is
The Intimidator Spot 360X is a compact moving-head spot from Chauvet DJ, designed for mobile events (Chauvet DJ product page). Chauvet DJ introduced its Intimidator Spot X family in October 2022, and its page for the Intimidator Spot 360, discontinued since 2023, names the 360X as the next-generation product. An outdoor version, the Intimidator Spot 360X IP, is sold separately.
A 100 W LED gives 3,967 lumens through a manual zoom of 12° to 17° with motorised focus. The colour wheel has eight colours plus white, with split colours and an updated CTO filter; the gobo wheel has seven rotating, interchangeable gobos plus open; and two rotating prisms, a 3-facet round and a 5-facet linear, split the beam. It pans 540° and tilts 270°.
It runs 8 or 14 DMX channels over 3-pin XLR. A built-in RF receiver works with Chauvet DJ's RFC and RFC-XL remotes, which are sold separately, and Totem mode keeps the beams on the dance floor. One scene can be set, saved and recalled from the full-colour LCD. Chauvet DJ's page doesn't list ILS for this fixture.
It draws 217 W at 120 V, and its powerCON-compatible input and output power-link 5 units at 120 V or 8 at 230 V. It weighs 11.4 kg and measures 322 x 220 x 423 mm. The box holds the fixture, a power cord, a hanging bracket and a quick reference guide; its manual says to use a safety cable whenever it hangs overhead.
