We’ll take a look at some of its pros as well as its cons before going over its physical build, features, and sound quality, ultimately deciding whether this is worth your time or if there is something better out there waiting for you.

Are the Behringer Eurolive B210D speakers any good?

First Impressions – The Physical Build

Immediately taking it out of its box, the Eurolive B210D doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence. I remember distinctly feeling pretty “meh” when looking at it.

However, that largely changed after having a chance to fiddle it. From a purely physical standpoint, the B210D is kind of this strange contradiction.

It’s super lightweight while also surprisingly durable. It’s made from high-quality materials while also being sold fairly and affordably.

If you’re looking for something that does its job and does it well, there is a fair bit to like about the B210D and what it has to offer.

The Specs

A bi-amped speaker system, the Eurolive B210D has a 10-inch woofer with a 1.35-inch driver. It packs upwards of 200 watts of peak power while weighing just shy of 19 lbs. The speakers use Class D amps to push the sound as hard as possible while also having a fairly low operating temperature, meaning you can have them playing for most of the day without any issues.

The B210D has a frequency range that goes from 65Hz to 20kHz. This means you won’t have to worry about not enjoying the full spectrum of sound frequencies. What’s more, you can enjoy lows and highs without worrying about any distortion or muddiness with the sound, ultimately having fairly clean audio.

The Design

The Eurolive B210D has a lot of things going for it physically. However, its design and style just aren’t one of them. While I won’t go so far as to say the design is “bad”, that’s as far as my grace towards them can go.

Visually, they are incredibly bland and uninspired.

I get that, as PA systems, they aren’t meant to have much pizzazz, however, the fact that they simply look like average, run-of-the-mill speakers does kind of take a bit away from their overall impressive nature.

Taking A Deeper Look – Features & Sound Quality

Now that we’ve gotten a chance to look over the physical aspects of the B210D, let’s now take a look at its different features and sound quality.

That way, we can know just how good they are overall.

Sound Quality

Getting into their overall sound quality, the Behringer Eurolive B210D offers something pretty impressive, especially considering it’s meant for pushing out music at high volumes.

What It Gets Right

Thanks to its state-of-the-art DSP functionality, the Eurolive B210D has established some very impressive frequency ranges. Not only are its lows powerful and impactful, but its mids and highs both offer serious detail and clarity.

Features Offered

Connection Options

One place where the B210D shines is in its versatility. While it doesn’t have a ton of connection ports available, what it does have works well with just about everything.

In addition to its mounting features (either on poles, with a sub, or laid out as a stage monitor), the B210D can be hooked up to anything using an XLR or a 1/4th-inch cable port.

What’s more, you can link up several speakers using the XLR Link Output jack, creating a much more epic sound experience.

Tuning Options

Normally for these large speakers, they don’t come with a lot of tuning options and features, and that’s certainly fine to some degree.

That said, it is always nice when a speaker system does have some EQ add-ons that you can play with.

Here, the B210D comes with a 2-band equalizer for both the bass as well as the treble, both of which can be controlled and adjusted.

Final Thoughts – Is it Worth Your Time?

The Behringer Eurolive B210D is one of those dark horse speaker systems that, at first glance, don’t seem to offer much outside of affordability.

It’s only when you see them in action do you realize just how loud and capable these things can be.

Still, that now asks the question, “Is the Behringer Eurolive B210D worth your time?”

Absolutely. No, they aren’t the best speakers in the world.

However, if you are someone that is looking for a strong and durable speaker set that won’t be too expensive yet is great for blasting out sound in medium-to-large venues (churches, schools, clubs, etc.) then the Eurolive B210D just works on too many levels.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Super Affordable
  • Speakers Are Super Compact And Super Lightweight
  • Speakers Are Reinforced, Making Them Ideal For Live Playback

Cons

  • Design Is Bland

Behringer Eurolive B210D: The Verdict

The Behringer Eurolive B210D, when compared to many of the other 2-way PA speaker systems out there, simply has it where it counts. It’s durable but also lightweight. It’s got impressive sound quality but is also affordable.

The B210D lives in this space of impressive contradictions yet do so without any issues or complaint. This is simply not the case when it comes to other similar speaker systems.

Either they focus on affordability, creating faulty and low-quality material as a result, or they use high-quality materials but at a premium.

Yes, if you were to look, I’m sure you’d be able to find some PA speaker systems that sounded better or were more affordable. However, that very few alternative that would be as reliable, as durable, and produce sound as well as these for the price point.
