Skrillex has announced that he has canceled some of his upcoming shows in order to concentrate on his new music.
“Over the past few months I’ve been working very hard on finishing my albums and haven’t had enough time to prepare for the upcoming shows,” wrote the American EDM/Dubstep DJ and producer on his Instagram.
He has pulled out of both the Detroit Movement and Tampa Sunset music festivals.
“I hope you can all understand that this was a very difficult decision for me to make but I’ll be back soon with the show you all deserve,” Skrillex continued.
Stating that he is working on “albums” also teases that he may actually be releasing more than one album.
This may make up for the large period of a time gap since his last album.
