MASTERMIND and rave fans have praised one of the latest contestants as a “legend” after he revealed his epic choice of specialist subject.

This Monday’s episode (March 7th) of the BBC show in the United Kingdom saw the usual four members of the public sit in the famous black chair to answer questions on their specialist subjects followed by the grueling general knowledge round.

Third up was Patrick Wilson who curiously stood out against the iconic Mastermind black background in a brightly colored tie-dye shirt.

Patrick’s specialist unique subject was ‘Drum & Bass in the 1990s’!

Clive Myrie was asking the questions.

Patrick successfully answered questions about Goldie, Fabio & Grooverider, Kemistry & Storm, ‘Original Nuttah’, and rocketed through the round with 11 correct answers in total.

Only the Andy C question eluded him! No “All-Night-Long” guestlist for you Mr. W!

One of the questions was: “Which leading Drum & Bass musician, whose real name is Clifford Price released some of his early tracks under the name Rufige Kru?” He got the correct answer, “Goldie”.

Viewers at home fell in love with Patrick’s quirky appearance and raver subject choice and took to Twitter to heap praise on him.

One wrote: “Can tell this dude loves to rave. He’s really struggling with natural light and the lack of strobe #mastermind.”

Utterly Brilliant! Well done Patrick!
