Yep, you totally read that right!
David Soloman, CEO of Goldman Sachs is booked to play a DJ set at Lollapalooza this coming summer.
Investment banker David Soloman will play the Chicago based festival this coming July, performing alongside artists like Metallica, Dua Lipa, J. Cole, and Green Day
Solomon wrote on a post over on his music’s Instagram page.
However, this isn’t the first time that David has been booked to play a major event. According to his Instagram, in February, Solomon performed alongside headliners Kygo and Jack Harlow at Sports Illustrated The Party in Los Angeles.
The bio for Solomon’s social media account reads:
Surprisingly the CEO’s music is generating a growing following. David’s Spotify Wrapped overview from December last year summarised that his music received over 13 million streams to nearly 4 million listeners in 175 countries.
So, let’s not judge a book by its cover! Music is absolutely all-inclusive, the DJ life is certainly appealing to all sorts of people, so we may even be in for a pleasant surprise.
Good luck David!
Lollapalooza, the city’s largest music festival, will also include performances from Kygo, Machine Gun Kelly, Doja Cat, Lil Baby, Glass Animals, and Big Sean, supported by many others, it was announced this week.
