‘Subconsciously’ Album wins GRAMMY

DJ/producer Black Coffee has won his first-ever award at the GRAMMY Awards’ 64th annual celebration over the weekend. He was nominated in the dance/electronic album category for his 2021 album ‘Subconsciously’.

When accepting the award on stage he said, “I want to thank God for the gift of music and being able to share it with the world and heal some souls and help people go through whatever they’re going through in life.”

The South African producer, who also brought his son on stage to accept the award, also thanked fellow artist David Guetta for believing in him and supporting him, and trusting his ear as a “smaller artist” throughout his career.

He also added, “I want to thank my fans and people who follow what I do all over the world, thank you so much for believing in me.”
