Der DJControl Mix Ultra ist ein Zwei-Deck-Controller von Hercules, gebaut mit Algoriddim für die App djay auf Smartphones und Tablets. Hercules hat ihn im Januar 2025 auf den Markt gebracht, nachdem er einen CES 2025 Innovation Award gewonnen hatte. Er steht neben dem DJControl Mix, der sich ebenfalls per Bluetooth verbindet, aber keinen Akku hat.
Er koppelt sich per Bluetooth LE mit djay unter iOS 15 oder Android 10 und neuer und läuft mit einem eingebauten Akku mit 1.000 mAh, den Hercules mit bis zu 10 Stunden angibt. Geladen wird er über den USB-C-Port. Der Controller hat keine Audioausgänge: Der Ton kommt aus dem Smartphone oder Tablet, aus damit gekoppelten Bluetooth-Lautsprechern oder -Kopfhörern oder über das mitgelieferte Splitkabel am Kopfhörerausgang des Geräts, das den Master an die Lautsprecher und das Cue-Signal in Mono an den Kopfhörer schickt. Smartphones ohne Kopfhörerbuchse brauchen einen USB-C- oder Lightning-Adapter. djay ist beim Controller kostenlos dabei, und er schaltet auch die Stem-Separation Neural Mix von djay frei.
Jedes Deck hat ein berührungsempfindliches Jogwheel, einen Tempofader, Sync-, Cue- und Play-Tasten sowie acht Pads mit vier Modi (Hot Cue, Loop, Effekte und Neural Mix) und vier weiteren mit Shift. Der Mixer hat pro Kanal einen Dreiband-EQ und einen Filter, dazu einen Browse-Encoder mit Load-Tasten, eine Neural-Mix-Taste, Kanalfader und einen Crossfader. Im Karton liegen der Controller, eine Schutzabdeckung, die auch als Ständer für Smartphone und Tablet dient, ein Kabel von USB-A auf USB-C, das Splitkabel und eine Kurzanleitung. Er wiegt 0,85 kg.
